The electro salts from NAF are for horses in particularly hard work that sweat at large amounts losing their body fluid and natural salt such as sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium horses need these salts and with out them or replacing them can cause muscle, bone and cartilage tissue damage.These should be fed after hard work and hot weather the salts can easily be mixed in with the fed or dissolved in water however you must always make sure there is clean fresh water available.
